    For the first time at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall, the legendary character Jouha will make an appearance to recount exciting stories to kids before asking them a related question for a chance to win a daily gift. A life-size cut-out of Jouha will be placed in the Kids’ Area for children to take memorable pictures with their new favorite storyteller, while Jouha himself will be wandering the mall starting 9:15pm to ask visitors questions, giving them a chance to win instant prizes.

    And there’s one more golden surprise to look forward to during Ramadan Nights at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall: the magic lantern, a giant lantern-shaped installation! Here, younger visitors are invited to enter the lantern, pick up as many gold coins from the chest box as they can with two hands, then head out to weigh them. The participant with the largest amount of coins collected will win at the end of every day.

  • Bawabat Al Sharq Mall Kicks Off the Festive Season with a Winter Wonderland

    Bawabat Al Sharq Mall has announced the beginning of the holiday season celebrations within its premises, starting December 16, 2022 and until January 1, 2023.

    The winter festivities will feature numerous activities to entertain children and all family members, in addition to the end-of-year shopping festival, with slashing discounts to seize across retail stores.

    Families and friends visiting the mall, between 2:00 PM and 10:00 PM, are welcome to slide their way into fun with Bawabat Al Sharq Mall’s special Winter Wonderland setup, filling up the space with marvelous holiday vibes.

    The highlight of the winter season at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall is an indoor snow play area, where visitors of all ages can enjoy hours of fun, making snowmen and engaging in snow fights, while machines sprinkle delicate snowflakes from above.   • Bawabat Al Sharq Mall holds special 51st UAE National Day celebrations over 11 days

    From November 24 to December 4, 2:00pm to 10:00pm, families and friends from all over the Emirates are invited to celebrate the Spirit of the Union in a festive ambiance, and spend memorable moments together in a one-stop-shop venue that meets all their needs and satisfies all their cravings.

     

    For the 51st UAE National Day, Bawabat Al Sharq Mall has planned many entertainment activities to draw smiles on kids’ faces, including a dedicated kids’ area, a balloon twister stand, a face painting corner, and local carnival games to suit all ages. Adults, too, have a big share in this year’s festivities, with special local carnival games, a henna stand, and a local arts and crafts workshop awaiting them.

     

    Last but not least, National Day will be exceptionally memorable, featuring lively folkloric performances by renowned Emirati band, Al Mazyoud Al Harbiya, who will spread the joyous vibes across the mall at several instances on December 2, leading up to the highly anticipated National Day fireworks show. A true feast for the eye, this spectacular event will light up the sky of Abu Dhabi at 9:00pm, filling spectators’ hearts with an overwhelming sense of pride of calling the UAE home, and leaving them with a lasting memory of this year’s National Day celebration.
